 Andy is a qualified pharmacist in Australia and holds a Masters in Regulatory Affairs from Johns Hopkins University. His interest in international business began when he was running several different pharmacy businesses in Australia and noticed that there was an increase of Chinese travellers, international students, or Chinese Australians purchasing bulk supplies of vitamins and baby formula. These customers were later to be prevalently known as the Chinese "Daigou" - a personal shopper that is purchasing goods abroad for Chinese nationals living in China. Hence, to capitalize on this opportunity Andy started to run wholesaling businesses that focused on the procurement and supply to these Chinese customers and businesses and sales grew exponentially. 

As the Chinese Daigou trade evolved so did the sales channels and Chinese regulatory framework. Andy's next venture was to join the Chinese public-listed company, Globalegrow to set up their Australian office as a business development and procurement hub. During this time, the business evolved - breaking away from the procurement of products based on the market needs, to finding quality brands and building their business and brand equity in China. Andy led the operations to partner with several Australian and New Zealand brands and developed their market entry and sales strategies. Next, Andy relocated to China and widen his focus to brands all over the world - helping them develop and execute their business plan and significantly grow their business year on year 

Andy's next venture was in the USA, he joined the company Vitamin World and chaired the expansion of their International Business focusing on China and Southeast Asia. During this time, Andy was involved in NPDs, local market adaptation strategies as well as overseeing manufacturing, supply chain operations, and quality control.
